Quest chains, for example one beginning with An Earnest Proposition.
A PvP category; Hardcore brings its own challenges when it launches.
From the Deep Dive panel, the Hardcore panel and demo-station footage. Not a complete list; Blizzard has not published one.
Rules
Points are earned once for the account and every character spends the full amount in its own trees.
16 spendable at launch, 65 earnable in year one; more perks and trees to come.
Points earned outside Hardcore do not carry into it; points earned in Hardcore flow out to the others.
The Legacy reward track is cosmetic and prestige only. The perk trees are where the gameplay effects live.

How camping works
Place a Basic Campfire almost anywhere outdoors. It holds 3 crafted objects; a Cooking upgrade holds 5 or 10.
Each player adds one object, with a 1-hour cooldown on placing objects.
Sit at the fire briefly to get the buffs, which last 1 hour, plus vendor, repair and crafting access.
Anyone on your faction who sits there benefits, not just your party or raid.
First objects unlock at profession skill 20. Better ones use Blueprint recipes that reportedly drop from dungeon bosses.
Blizzard's Deep Dive recap: camp buffs do not stack with the equivalent class buff, so coordinate before placing.
Profession bonuses new in Forever · demo footage
Professions
The Classic set appears retained: Alchemy, Blacksmithing, Enchanting, Engineering, Herbalism, Leatherworking, Mining, Skinning, Tailoring; Cooking, Fishing, First Aid.
Blizzard announced 600+ new recipes, including foods with XP or stat effects.
Not yet reported: crafting orders, specialisations, profession cooldown mechanics, any Skyborne-specific profession.
Legacy perks for professions and camps
Account-wide perks from the demo Legacy trees that touch professions or camping. The full Legacy planner is in the Legacy tab.
For Forever Ever: camp objects are a third buff source next to class buffs and consumables (toggle them in the Raid Comp tab), and Dedicated Study's 23-hour cooldown plus the 1-hour camp-object cooldown are the first confirmed long cooldowns for the profession tracker.

Systems Blizzard has confirmed High Deep Dive and What's Next recaps · Medium panel reporting
Characters and rulesets
Four rulesets: Normal, PvP, RP, Hardcore. Each is its own world; no grouping across them.
Hardcore arrives after launch (undated), is permanent, has its own Legacy challenges. A dead character can move to any other ruleset; nothing moves in.
Two names per player; language and faction preferences per character. Mail and auction house stay faction-separate.
Legacy: 16 points per character at launch, 65 earnable in year one, more trees to come.
Medium 10 characters per ruleset, 50 per account (single source).
Combat and items
Hit and crit are each one stat across melee, ranged and spells. Weapon skill on gear is weakened. No resilience stat.
Bonus healing grants a third as much bonus damage, from level 10.
Blessings last 1 hour. Kings, Divine Spirit, Improved Mark of the Wild and Improved Battle Shout are baseline. Paladin taunt reaches 10 yards.
Hundreds of new world epics; quest rewards rebuilt. No WoW Token.
All mana users regenerate mana in combat from Spirit. Tanks are built to hold threat on three or four targets, not packs.
Travel, transmog, camps
Mounts follow the Burning Crusade model: the cost sits in riding training, the mount comes with the skill. No flying mounts.
Transmog is opt-in at an NPC. Poor and Common unlock on loot; Uncommon and Rare unlock for the whole party on loot; Epic only for the binder. Armour type locked, nothing above your level, Classic Mode turns it off.
Camp object blueprints drop from dungeon bosses. Each object has a 1-hour cooldown per player.
Beta: level cap 20 rising to 30, 17 Sep to 21 Oct; free opt-in lottery with no game time needed, or Epic pack access. Live developer Q&A on 17 Sep, 10:00 PDT.
Editions: Heroic $29.99 (Skyborne and Zephras Isle), Epic $59.99 (adds beta access), Collection $79.99 (on sale until 11 Jan 2027).
The honor system is changing (Blizzard's Forever page); no numbers published yet.
For Forever Ever: 9 Dec is the deadline for raid loot tables, and Onyxia's Lair means 40-player raids exist alongside 10 and 20. Spring and summer each bring two new raids and dungeons, so the bestiary and loot data never stop moving.

About the data
Everything here is a prototype for the Forever Ever companion. It runs on what could be read from the BlizzCon 2026 demo, filled in with patch 1.12 Classic where the demo hasn't shown something yet. Nothing is final until the beta client (17 Sep) is datamined.

Read frame by frame from BlizzCon 2026 demo footage on Twitch and YouTube streams, with the stream and timestamp recorded per talent.
